i love, love, love the daily audio bible with brian hardin. i load it on my ipod before i walk out the door in the morning and it makes my day better even when i’m in a big rush. i’m an auditory processor, so hearing the bible read makes a big difference for me. i also love that brian started the podcast as a way to keep himself accountable to read through the bible in a year, and that he prays at the end of each day’s reading. it’s a free subscription on itunes….check it out!
that sounds really cool. I think I’ll check it out!

I was downloading sermon podcasts from different churches for a while. My favorite was the Bristol Vineyard. I started to think I was a member there. I happened to be in London last spring and so wrote them an email to let them know I might come over on a Sunday. We talked back and forth a bit but I ended up not being able to make it there. I secretly was hoping they’d have some big WORD for me or something. WORD: “move to England” . I don’t know. It burst the bubble when they didn’t do what they shoulda. Now I just listen to The Shins.

i was so blessed by your testimony on suday. that was so couragous of you. i’m really proud of you for it, and today i went back and read lev26. really powerful! ryc: that quote is from a movie called half nelson that i saw. he was talking with one of his students about his drug addiction and he said “one thing doesn’t make a man.” he was speaking of his sin. the completely secular movie and notion, encouraged and moved me.
